Fireworks are a dazzling displays of light and color that captivate and mesmerize audiences as they burst across the night sky. As the wildfire smoke clears from our city, you might be wondering how you can safely enjoy a display without adding unnecessary smoke or even accidentally starting a new fire.
Might we suggest attending one of the many professional, public displays that are being offered across Toronto and the GTA? Not only is it safer, but you’ll also be able to share the excitement with your neighbours.
Here are a few places where you can enjoy a memorable and hassle-free fireworks display:
The City of Toronto is having fireworks displays on July 1st in 4 city parks:
• Ashbridges Bay Park (1561 Lake Shore Blvd. E)
• Centennial Park Etobicoke (256 Centennial Park Rd.).
• Milliken Park (5555 Steeles Ave. E).
• Stan Wadlow Park (373 Cedarvale Ave.)
**There will be no fireworks at Nathan Phillips Square and Mel Lastman Square.
You can also check out the fireworks display at Canada’s Wonderland after a fun-filled day riding rollercoasters. The display starts at 10 PM.
