Swelling can be characterized as an increase in the size or a change in the shape of an area of the body.
Swelling can be caused by the collection of the following:
• Collection of body fluid.
• Tissue growth.
• Abnormal movement or position of tissue.
It occurs typically as a result of inflammation or injury, the medical term of swelling is edema. Edema occurs when small blood vessels leak fluid into nearby tissues.
There are several causes of edema like medications, pregnancy, infections.

Swelling may occur internally in a specific area of the breast which makes a remarkable difference in size and shape in one breast or both of them.

And it can occur externally as it can affect the skin or muscles Skin can feel tight due to swelling

In a nutshell, breast cancer has signs and symptoms that indicate specific changes in the body. No matter the breast cancer infection through life stage .What is vital to love and care about yourself is to be able to fight this disease bravely.

In the light of the above mentioned signs, paying a visit to the doctor will be the way of wisdom to avoid more suffering and pain in the future.

Also, every woman should perform a breast self exam every month to assure herself. In case of any of the former signs, asking for the medical examination as mammogram, ultrasound or any other imaging tests that will be so useful to rule out infection or other possible triggers.

Finally, not any breast change will cause cancer infection. Prevention is better than cure.
